Eastern Cape Explorer

12 Days 11 Nights$7550 - $9275

This 12-day itinerary begins in scenically beautiful Cape Town, where you will find a compelling mix of trendy modern and old-world elegance. Begin your journey with four nights at the Kensington Place, located in the leafy Cape Town suburb of Higgovale. This contemporary private hotel combines cutting-edge design with a tranquil but prime location off trendy Kloof Street, below Table Mountain. Eight bespoke en-suite guest rooms and private outdoor terraces as well as a lush green Urban retreat with a plunge pool make it the perfect home away from home to begin your safari in South Africa. From Cape Town, your private guide will transfer you to Hermanus via Elgin and the Hemel end Aarde Wine Valley for a wine tasting and overnight at the One Marine Drive before continuing to the Garden Route. Not a garden in the true sense of the word, the Garden Route is more in the way of a "Garden of Eden," an area of natural wilderness with endless expanses of untamed primal forest and pristine beaches. Here, you will spend three nights at Kanonkop House, gloriously situated on the hills above Knysna. The family-owned Kanonkop offers boutique accommodation, excellent service and views over the Knysna Lagoon across to the famous Knysna Heads and the ocean beyond. Continuing by road, the Eastern Cape has its fair share of game reserves, private and national, and one of the main draws is that they are malaria free. The Mountain Zebra National Park, is home to the rare Cape Mountain Zebra, as well as buffalo, cheetah and the smaller predators - genets, bat-eared foxes, and jackals. Addo Elephant National Park, a Big 5 reserve is a haven for elephant and neigboring Camdeboo and Shamwari are highly regarded Eastern Cape reserves as well. Your last visit in South Africa is to the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, located in South Africa’s beautiful Eastern Cape Province. The reserve comprises 22 000 hectares of African wilderness inhabited by a diverse array of wildlife including hippo, springbok, giraffe, cheetah as well as the famed Big Five. You can look forward to a wide selection of incredible activities including: scenic picnics, guided nature walks with experienced wildlife trackers, sundowners while floating on one of the reserve dams, as well as big game walking safaris and even rhino darting.

Sabi Sands, Victoria Falls and the Lower Zambezi

Discover some of Southern Africa's most iconic wildlife regions in South Africa and Zambia. Your adventure begins with 4 nights on safari where you can connect to one of South Africa’s most authentic and immersive safari experiences at Tanda Tula Safari Camp. Enjoy the reserve's incredible variety of game, including lion, leopard, giraffe, elephant and buffalo - as well as plains game and other predators, such as cheetah and wild dog. A short flight from the Kruger to Livingstone (Zambia side of the Falls) brings you to the majestic Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty. You'll stay at the Chundukwa River Lodge where you can enjoy views of the mighty Zambezi River from your river facing chalet. Enjoy a Tour of the Falls (Zambian side) and a sunset cruise during you stay. Additional activities available (at an additional cost) include Livingstone Island, Devil's Pool (water levels permitting), a helicopter flip over the Falls or a visit to Victoria Falls town on the Zimbabwe side of the Falls. Finally, you will journey by air for a further 4 nights at Anabezi Camp, in the Lower Zambezi National Park with the Zambezi escarpment as its backdrop. In addition to game drives and bush walks, you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy canoeing and boating on the river or simply watch the river life unfold from camp. This itinerary is available from May 1st to November 15th.

Exclusive South Africa

10 Days 9 Nights$14200 - $15370

This exclusive South African itinerary combines the best of the Western Cape with a 3 night safari experience in the Greater Kruger area.  The itinerary begins with 3 nights at Ellerman House in a private villa.  This exclusive property offers spectacular views over the ocean.  Art lovers will appreciate the private gallery on the grounds featuring a selection of African artists.  It will be a delightful oasis after busy days of exploring the City and Cape Point Peninsula, including highlights such as Table Mountain, City Center, Cape of Good Hope, and Boulders Beach. Then it is off to the Cape Winelands, arguably one of the most beautiful wine regions of the world.  This area is also a hub for artisan foods.  You'll enjoy three nights in Franschhoek at Leeu Estate.  Its location offers stunning views of the valley, with access to the shops, art galleries and incredible restaurants of the village. Finally, the itinerary concludes as you journey to the  Sabi Sands private game reserve where you will spend 3 nights tracking down the Big Five as well as over 40 species of mammal roaming the wilderness, during your stay at Singita Lebombo.  

Southern Africa Adventurer

11 Days 10 Nights$6175 - $9700

This adventure begins in Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an area of natural beauty. Enjoy Africa's self-proclaimed adventure capital while staying at Ilala Lodge for two nights - a great location for exploring Victoria Falls town, its craft markets and local flavours. Enjoy a sunset cruise as you toast your first night in Africa! A myriad of additional activities can be added during your stay including a tour of the Falls, ziplining, white water rafting, a helicopter excursion or a trip to the Devil's Pool (water levels permitting). Pre-booking is recommended. Your journey continues as you travel to Botswana, beginning with 2 nights in the Linyanti area, at Linyanti Tented Camp, where there will be ample opportunity for walking/hiking as twice daily game drives, in a area rich with wildlife and considered one of the prime elephant wildlife corridors in Southern Africa. From there continue to Gomoti Plains Camp for 3 nights. Located on world's largest inland delta, the Okavango Delta, with its excellent guides and location. Days are spent enjoying game drives, night drives, mokoro (canoe) excursions (water level dependent) and bush walks - a lovely combination of land and water activities, with fantastic game viewing including lion, leopard, elephant, hippo as well as birdlife and antelope. Then it is onto Cape Town for a final 3 nights in Africa's southernmost city. Days will be spent exploring the city, including Table Mountain, Cape Point and the Cape Winelands. The Cape Cadogan, a charming boutique hotel in a lively neighbourhood, will prove a welcome oasis to relax, while close enough to enjoy all the fine dining the city has to offer. It is foodie heaven!

Cape and Kruger

A scheduled flight and road transfer takes you to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, within the Greater Kruger National Park for your first safari at the very special Notten's Bush Camp. Here you enjoy close encounters with Africa’s Big 5 Game. Continue on to RockFig Safari Lodge, in the Timbavati wilds, and see how the professional guides and trackers read the signs of the bush to anticipate the movements and behavior of birds and animals for the best possible viewing and photographic opportunities.

Safari and Beach

Your safari begins in the Sabi Sands for 4 nights, an area of private reserves including Savanna Private Game Reserve, with unfenced borders to the Kruger National Park. The region is home to the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, Cape buffalo and rhino – as well as incredible variety of other game and birdlife. After a direct flight from Kruger to Maputo you will transfer by road to the Mozambique coast where you will spend 5 days at the magnificent White Pearl Resort. Activities include beach picnic, beach sports, surfing/kayaking, shoreline fishing, fat bikes, stand-up paddle boarding, local drumming performance, snorkeling off the beach, guided lake walk with sundowners, turtle walk (Nov-Feb), an ocean safari and a Maputo Special Reserve trip or you can simply relax on the beach with views of the Indian Ocean.
