We have had such a wonderful time looking through your fabulous photo submissions these past two weeks! Landscapes, sunsets, and gorgeous wildlife shots have been passed around the office and enjoyed. Voting begins on Friday for this month’s submissions, so please keep them coming. If you are planning a trip this summer, there are still lots of chances to enter, the contest is open until the end of September!
Heart and Warmth Over Perfection!
We welcome all submissions, no need to feel shy if you think your photos are not up to National Geographic standards. We’re looking for heart, warmth and joy rather than perfection. We want to see your favorite safari memories and share in the joy. Perhaps it was trying ostrich meat for the first time, or dancing with a Maasai warrior! We’d love to see family photos, tent interiors, rural villages, painted barber shop signs – anything that you found memorable, surprising or interesting about your trip. Images that portray the essence of your African Portfolio safari are just as likely to make the final album every month, as a close up shot of a lion.
Re-live your favorite moments from your African Portfolio safari this weekend and browse through your photo albums. Then e-mail your favorite memories to us in jpeg format to: [email protected] for the chance to win a $500 American Express voucher.
