Susan, was born and raised in California, but ventured from her home town of Santa Barbara to travel the globe working as a fashion model. Her love of travel and adventure grew out of her experience of living and working abroad.  She finally landed in New York City, finished her BA at Columbia and started a photography production business, where for more than 20 years she continued to travel while producing fashion photo shoots.  Susan has been a safari specialist at African Portfolio since 2020 and is an invaluable member of the team in working with clients to design their dream safaris to Africa, developing client support and service policies and related documents, as well as spear heading marketing and special projects.  She has traveled to Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Victoria Falls, and Botswana.  Read what some of Susan’s clients have to say about their safari experience.
