How would you rate your trip overall?  Excellent
Comment:  Except for too long stay in Arusha (2 days with limited options), the whole trip to Tarangire, Ngonrogoro and Serengeti was spectacular.

What was the most important reason for choosing AFRICAN PORTFOLIO?  Proposal seemed most complete and knowledgable

How many safari companies did you consider before selecting AFRICAN PORTFOLIO?   Three or Four

How would you rate AFRICAN PORTFOLIO’S representatives in Africa? Excellent
Comment: Ranger Safari seems like a very professional outfit. The guide we had was excellent.

What additional information (if any) would you have liked to receive prior to your departure from home?
The fact that there were no mosquitoes during time of visit.

How would you describe your accommodation, facilities and meals? Please provide the name of the hotel, lodge or camp you are describing.
All ELEWANA camps or lodges we visited (TREE TOPS, MANOR, MIGRATION, PIONEER) were all really fantastic. Management and staff top class. Some of the best service we ever had considering the conditions.

What and where was your favorite meal of the trip?
Considering the places where we stayed, we were rather impressed with the food quality.
In terms of experience, all meals in nature were most special.
Favorite food: The soups which were very good everywhere.
Special mentions to PIONEER CAMP and MIGRATION CAMP for the food quality, in light of their locations. It is not an easy task to serve 2 dishes/type for different meals every day.
The food for breakfasts or lunch in nature were also really good, and diverse.

How would you evaluate your safari guides and staff? Please provide the name of the person you are describing.
Fahadh Hariri is an experienced and very friendly person. Always positive and enthusiastic about having us discover the wildlife and culture of Tanzania. 2xSuper.
Other guides at TREETOPS (Elly?), and MIGRATION (Hamisi, Moses) were also super.

What was your most memorable moment in Africa?
There are three.
The kindness and professionalism of the people we met.
The interactions between animals.
The sheer beauty and culture of the areas of Tanzania we visited.

As a single event: stand-off between buffaloes and lionesses.

If you could give future travelers one word of advice, what would it be?
Pack light. Get good binoculars. You’ll make super photos with an iphone. Be polite and generous with the people you meet. You’ll be rewarded hundred fold.
