Comment: Only had to contact them once about a suitcase that needed to be forwarded to the airport (not their fault) and they handled it immediately. Very impressive.

How would you describe your accommodation, facilities and meals? Please provide the name of the hotel, lodge or camp you are describing.
Cape Grace – charming, wonderful staff, beautiful room, excellent breakfast, great location
Ngala – the best!! Loved our guide, Lee Anne, Richard our tracker, MK our butler and Dennis the manager. The drives were excellent and both LeeAnn and Richard made us feel at home. Great food.
Ivory Sands – beautiful room, good safaris, lots of booze
What and where was your favorite meal of the trip?
Dinner at Ngala with some new friends that we made.
How would you evaluate your safari guides and staff? Please provide the name of the person you are describing.
Lee Anne – Ngala guide – wonderful, knowledgeable, funny and passionate about her job
Richard – Ngala tracker – great! Knew exactly what he was doing, was full of information, worked well with Lee Anne and the rest of us
JP – Ivory Lodge guide – Nice, loved his job, we were spoiled by Lee Anne
Norman – Ivory Lodge tracker – really knew his stuff
Was there anything you would have like more of, less of, or done differently?
Maybe one less day at Ivory and one more day in civilization. Didn’t have any time to shop.
What was your most memorable moment in Africa?
Getting stuck in the mud in Ngala and having Lee Anne and Richard save us – all the while knowing that there was a leopard out there. They were great.
If you could give future travelers one word of advice, what would it be?
Don’t worry about safari clothes. Sketchers shoes, shorts, a safari-type shirt with long sleeves, baseball hat (can be purchased at the lodge)
